We haven't done an idea for a while, so let me post one I came up with a few days ago. I intend to use this some day, but who knows if I'll ever be able to get to it. . . .
Idea of the Day: Phobia magic. Being afraid of something gives you power over it.
Only true, innate phobias would work. I just think that this would be an interesting, dynamic way to write a story. For instance, you could be terrified of spiders—and that gives you power over them. So, you'd be really creeped out ever time you use your magic!
