Lightsabers Are Fun
Posted on 09.29.04Categories:NoneThe cover proofs came in the mail today. That was a glorious event—now I actually have something physical I can show people. (Rather than just saying ‘Hey, look at my computer. That picture is going to be my cover!’)
In other notes. . .hum. I met someone who really likes James Joyce today. I started to blog on this, and it rampantly turned into a column, so expect a EUOLogy on this topic over at the TWG on Friday.
And, in a gross error of judgment, I started playing Knights of the Old Republic a few days ago. Now, I’m not much of a video game player—not because I don’t like them, but because I know they can easily dominate a person’s life. I tend to keep my computers a little behind the trend so that I can never run the newest games, therefore keeping myself from buying too many games, and forcing myself to be productive.
Unfortunately, this game is on loan from my friend Dan. More unfortunately, my roommate gave me some pieces of an older computer that are actually very good. The short is, I can run KotOR (barely.)
