ELANTRIS in German

We got an offer on ELANTRIS from a German publisher on Tuesday. This is pretty exciting for a number of reasons. First, the money they've offered is fairly decent, and will give me something to live on next year. (That's always a plus.)

More important, however, is the opportunity to break into the German market early. There is apparently a thriving sf/f market over there, and I've been eager to get a German sale for ELANTRIS. I've been told that most newer authors have to publish several books before they get overseas sales. However, this is our second one (Russian was first) and the book isn't even out yet. Looks like a good sign, eh?
