As of right now (January 2008) this book is scheduled for release in October. We wanted it to come earlier (it was tentatively planned for June) but Tor decided to do a re-issue of the MISTBORN: THE FINAL EMPIRE paperback with a new cover and a promotional price. This is a great opportunity, but as it's going to have a coupon in it for a discount on MISTBORN: THE HERO OF AGES, we had to push the hardcover back until the re-issue was ready. Right now, it's scheduled to come out in September.
