Aon Rao Pendant $49
Brandon has licensed with Badali Jewelry to release pendants based on the Aons from ELANTRIS. Integral to the geometric magic of the world of Elantris, the Aons form the basis for the written language of Opelon and an are integral to the souls of Seons.
The characters were designed and drawn by Brandon himself for the book, and have been beautifully adapted into these pendants, which come in a variety of colors and designs. Brandon plans to do a longer feature on each Aon, posted to his blog, explaining the use of each one in AonDor and pointing out linguistic appearances each one has in the novel. Once he's written those out, the appropriate one will appear here on this page. Don't let that stop you from ordering, however, as they're all up and ready for sale! Badali has allowed Brandon to open a merchant account with them, so he can sell the pendants directly through his website and ship them to your door!
You have three basic choices for a given pendant. If you want simplicity, you can go for a plain sterling silver version of the Aon with no enamel. For $5 extra, you can give this a palladium finish (recommended) to prevent tarnishing.
Each pendant also comes in a variety of colored enamels. The Aon itself will be in silver with a field of enamel beneath. These can be quite striking, depending on your color choice! Each Aon comes in the following colors: Amethyst, Black Onyx, Carnelian, Emerald, Jade, Peacock, Pearl, Pewter, Ruby, Sapphire, Tiger's Eye, Topaz, Tourmaline, and Zircon. You can preview these colors by selecting them from the drop down.
Finally, for those who REALLY want something special, each Aon also comes in a 14k gold option. Or, you could choose white gold for $30 more.
A 24" rhodium plated chain or a 24" black leather cord come free with each Aon. You also have the option to upgrade to a 18" silver cable chain for $5 extra or a 20" silver box chain for $9. Finally, you could choose to upgrade to an 18" gold rope chain for $100 extra.
Brandon and Badali are considering doing MISTBORN-themed pendants as well, but that will depend on how well the ELANTRIS ones sell.
