Hey! Brandon here with your Weekly Update.
It’s been two weeks, and so I’ve actually made some decent progress on Ghostbloods first draft. So I had a normal week and a good week, and I'm putting us at, Bing! 22% done. So nice little jump there past the 20% mark. So life is good on that. Again, this is assuming it'll be a 200,000-word book. Sometimes they can go long. Sometimes they can go short. So we'll have to gauge this as we go. But my goal is to finish by sometime in July. So I think I'm on target for that, but we will see as things play out.
So what have we got? Our bookstore has some things that you could go buy if you felt like it. Our items from our Words of Radiance campaign, they are now available for purchase. So if you didn't get in on the campaign, but you would like to get, these are like plushies and cool things like that. If you've always wanted to have your own huggable Stormfather, well, this is where you would get a huggable Stormfather. I assume we have Stormfathers left. I don't know what we've sold out of and what we haven't. But go get your own huggable Stormfather. He looks delightfully grouchy.
We've also restocked the Mistborn leatherbound books. Oh, the signed ones. So, I spent a long time signing those. So we have my signed ones. Get those while they're around because the signed ones go fast. I just finished signing up Lost Metal, which is what we're releasing this year, and I've moved on. I'm now on Hero of Ages, signing some of those. If you've been waiting to get a signed copy of Mistborn leatherbound, they are up until they vanish. And then I'm going to have to go through the entire cycle of books again before I get back to Mistborn.
The Brotherwise Mistborn deck-building game, we also have that up for sale on our website. People have really been enjoying this. I got to play test it and give my feedback, and so I had a hand in this, a very small one, in the design of this game. I think it's a blast. I think you will enjoy it. So if you want a kind of fun deck-building game that you can play in a shorter time than a giant board game, well, this is the thing to grab.
Check out our interview with Isaac and Shawn. So Isaac Stewart and Shawn Boyles, they are in our Art Department. You've seen Isaac on this channel multiple times. They go into detail on the process of art directing our Eye of the World leatherbounds, which are coming out later this year. The leatherbounds for Eye of the World look fantastic. If you've been waiting for the Wheel of Time leatherbound of your dreams, like I have been since I bought the kind of mediocre ones that they had long ago, well, the Dragonsteel ones I can definitely put our seal of approval on. I really like how the art has turned out in these. And so go watch, and we'll be talking more every month as we get closer and closer to the release of the Eye of the World leatherbound.
Last thing is we are going to do a special lecture on the publishing industry as a kind of tie-in to my university lectures. We've done one of these for most of the topics for the university lectures. So the last one we'll do is a Q&A with you about the publishing industry. So Lecture 12, that's the one you want to watch, and make sure that you've already seen that one and the two leading up to it that talk about the publishing industry and then leave your questions in Lecture 12's comment section. And 10 of those will be pulled by my team, and I'll get through as many of them as I can in about a half hour. We'll record that lecture in a week or so. Please leave your feedback for us there, your questions.
And I will be back next week for a Weekly Update. I won't be travelling again for a little while, so you should be able to see plenty of me in the coming weeks.
