We are hiring a full-time Marketing Coordinator for our offices in Pleasant Grove, Utah. This is an exempt, in-office position.

Description

The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Director in the Publicity and Marketing department. This role serves as the linchpin for coordinating integrated marketing campaigns for Dragonsteel, including the daily management of website content and consumer facing webstore activities. They will play a pivotal role in promoting our products, optimizing our online presence, growing customer engagement, fostering strategic alignment across departments, and meticulously measuring our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of success in executing marketing campaigns seamlessly across multiple platforms, have strong project management skills, possess substantial experience with WordPress and Shopify, be a strategic thinker with a strong marketing analytics background, excel in creating compelling content, have a passion for driving customer engagement, and actively champion Dragonsteel’s mission to our global audience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns across various digital channels including websites, email, newsletters, and paid ads 
  • Work closely with the Merchandise team to manage product listings, research orders, set up and coordinate e-commerce focused promotions, and assist in setting up and managing PO systems
  • Craft and manage content for multiple websites. This includes writing clear and engaging web copy, implementing SEO techniques, and modifying banners, blogs, progress bars, and book updates
  • Create and integrate funnels and personas to effectively segment and target specific audience groups 
  • Implement and utilize analytics tools to measure and optimize website and marketing campaign performance across multiple domains and channels
  • Provide day-to-day marketing administrative support to the Marketing Director, which includes modifying graphics, assisting in budget management, providing insights into emerging channels, giving feedback on user experience enhancements, and other related tasks
  • Collect, analyze, and share weekly marketing insights and activities to help drive awareness and innovation across the company
  • Research and implement webstore app integrations. Also, work with the IT team to address technical solutions for webstore development 
  • Monitor webstore account tax requirements, and work with the Finance team on tax related tasks
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to gain a deep understanding of Dragonsteel and the fans
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of copywriting and digital marketing experience 
  • 3+ years of content management experience with WordPress and Shopify. Proficiency with HTML and CSS is a plus 
  • 2+ years of email marketing experience. Expertise with MailChimp is preferred
  • Hands-on e-commerce product management experience
  • Demonstrable success with marketing campaign creation and coordination
  • Digital ad management experience (Google, Meta, Amazon, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficient in using funnel tracking and analytics tools. Expertise with Google Analytics is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a self-starter with the ability to consistently meet frequent deadlines
  • Complete assigned projects to the best of your ability, make timely requests for clarification, seek to collaborate with fellow employees, and show focus and care for the consistency and accuracy of your work
