BRANDON: Hey! Brandon here with your Weekly Update. A quick one today. Not a whole lot of things to say. But let's get your percentage bars first.

My non-Cosmere novella is at, Bing! 90%. We are very close on that, so be watching for a finished, probably next week would be my guess. Going along pretty nicely. Blightfall, Janci's follow-up to the Skyward series, is at, Bing! 40%. So good progress all around there. I am still eyeing January is when I'm going to start Ghostbloods, the next major Cosmere sequence. So still have a few months until I need to do that.

The Most Boring Book Ever, my children's picture book, it is coming out on the 24th, so inching up on us here pretty soon. And we do still have a few tickets left for the release event. Turns out they added some more. These have been selling pretty well. We are almost out. But they did add some. So if you were on the fence, well, you can go use the link in the description, and you can come see myself and Kazu.

So here's how the tickets work for this event. You buy an adult ticket, and then you add a free children's ticket, but you do have to add it on so that we--that's just how they are counting it with the bookstore. This gets you two personalized books. We're anticipating one copy of The Most Boring Book ever, and one of the adult's copies that they want to bring, or a different one of the kid's books, if they want to bring it. Right? So two personalized books, one probably for the parent, one probably for the kid, or both for the kid. But you do need to add the kid's ticket in separately, which is free. And the adult ticket includes a copy of the book. So that gets you a copy of The Most Boring Book Ever, and an adult seat, and then the children's seat, which you can add on.

Last announcement for you. We have a few more guests coming to Nexus this year. And I know the tickets to Nexus are all sold out, but these will be fun things that you'll want to know if you are coming, to bring your books for.

So Kazu is going to come to that, Kazu Kibuishi, who wrote the Amulet series, and The Most Boring Book Ever with me. He will be at Nexus. So if you want to get your books signed by Kazu, I bet he will be willing to sign them there. Bring your copies of Amulet.

Shannon Hale is going to join us. And Shannon is a good friend and an awesome author, and she has written tons of amazing books. So make sure you bring your Shannon Hale books along with you.

So, and finally, we have a YouTube guest coming. Nerdforge is going to be coming to Nexus this year. Nerdforge is two people, Martina and Hansi. She's generally in front of the camera and he's generally behind the camera. And they make all kinds of very cool videos. My favorite is not the one you're probably expecting. I love where she paints the same painting three times, like, once super fast, once taking, like, a day, and once taking, like, a week, something like that. It's a really engaging, interesting video on the process of creating art. But she also made, like, a giant copy of The Wheel of Time that she just bound all together. She does all sorts of cool, artistic projects. They’re wonderful. Check out their channel. You know, they'll be at Nexus if you want to meet them.

Thank you, as always, for hanging out with me here. Like I said, a short one. We'll be back next week, and I should be announcing that the novella is finished next week. So thumbs up.
