It's time for Dragonsteel Nexus tickets to go up. If you aren't familiar with how we do this, in order to try to keep things a little more level, a little more even, and to keep you from sitting in lines waiting, we have a drawing for tickets. We draw huge swaths of you if you've signed up for our mailing list, and then you get a period of time to buy a ticket if you want one, up to four.
I will be out next week. So expect either no Weekly Update or expect somebody else to be in this chair because I am going to go to a writing retreat where I will work some on the screenplay, but some on just some revisions for Mistborn. And then I will be back for just a brief amount of time and then out to London. So we will see you there—not at the writing retreat—in London.
Hey! Brandon here with our Weekly Update. A few little announcements for you, mostly events that I've got coming up, and again, mostly related to London. So the first thing is, my buddy Joe Abercrombie and I will be doing an event in London while I'm there.But also, we're going to do a pop-up at Forbidden Planet.
Hey! Brandon here with the Weekly Update. How's the Mistborn screenplay going? I am at, Bing! 55%. I will be visiting Atlanta in a couple of weeks. Spring break is right around the corner, and if you're itching for something to do, my team suggested to me that I tell you what I've been reading lately.
As we mentioned, the campaign, it's over. I'm actually recording this before it ends. It's at 10 and a half million right now. Around 70,000 backers. I am really excited that you guys wanted these goofy picture books. I'm very proud of them. I love them. It is an odd sort of thing for us to do and took a lot of time and resources.
This week Brandon took to YouTube for the Weekly Update, where he gives us the breakdown on his activities and progress from the previous week and what we can look forward to in the next. This week included the on screen debut of Rosie Fowinkle’s paper craft Mistborn art and an announcement for a Warbreaker rerelease featuring brand new art by Dan Dos Santos.
